أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ عَنْ كَثِيرِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْأَسْلَمِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
كَانَ بَدْءُ طَعَامِ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَلَى يَدَيْ أَصْحَابِهِ هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ وَهَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةَ قَالَ فَدَارَ عَلَيَّ فَصَنَعْتُ طَعَامَ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَهَبْتُ بِهِ إِلَيْهِ قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَمْزَةَ «وَكَانَ حَمْزَةُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْأَسْلَمِيُّ يُكَنَّى أَبَا مُحَمَّدٍ مَاتَ سَنَةَ إِحْدَى وَسِتِّينَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ إِحْدَى وَسَبْعِينَ سَنَةً»

✧ The food of the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was provided by his companions on a rotating basis, one night and another night. He said: It came around to me, so I prepared food for the companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and took it to him. Sufyan b. Hamza said: "Hamza b. 'Amr al-Aslami had the kunya Abu Muhammad. He died in the year sixty-one, at the age of seventy-one."
