فَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزَّاهِدُ ثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ عُقْبَةَ يَقُولُ «تُوُفِّيَ مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ نَوْفَلٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ وَمِائَةٍ وَكَانَ أَسْلَمَ يَوْمَ الْفَتْحِ وَهُوَ مِنَ الْمُؤَلَّفَةِ قُلُوبُهُمْ»
Translation

✧ I heard Sa'id b. 'Uqba say, "Makhrama b. Nawfal al-Qurashi died at the age of one hundred and fifteen. He had accepted Islam on the day of the conquest, and he was among those whose hearts were to be reconciled."
