وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْأَصْبَهَانِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ رُسْتَةَ ثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُمَرَ قَالَ
«شَهِدَ مَخْرَمَةُ بْنُ نَوْفَلٍ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ فَأَعْطَاهُ مِنْ غَنَائِمِ حُنَيْنٍ خَمْسِينَ بَعِيرًا وَمَاتَ مَخْرَمَةُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ سَنَةَ أَرْبَعٍ وَخَمْسِينَ وَكَانَ يَوْمَ مَاتَ ابْنَ مِائَةٍ وَخَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً»

✧ Makhrama b. Nawfal was present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on the day of Hunayn, and he gave him fifty camels from the spoils of Hunayn. Makhrama died in Madinah in the year fifty-four, and on the day he died he was one hundred and fifteen years old.
