✧ Al-Tufayl b. 'Abd Allah, the nephew of 'A'isha, said to her mother that he saw in a dream that he met a group of Christians and said, 'You would be the best people if you did not claim that the Messiah is the son of God.' They said, 'And you would be the best people if you did not say, "Whatever God wills and whatever Muhammad wills."' He said: Then he met some Jews and said, 'You would be the best people if you did not claim that 'Uzayr is the son of God.' They said, 'And you would be the best people if you did not say, "Whatever God wills and whatever Muhammad wills."' So he came to the Prophet ﷺ and told him, and the Prophet ﷺ said, 'Have you told anyone about this?' He said, 'Yes.' Then he praised God and extolled Him, and said, 'Your brother has seen what has reached you, so do not say, "Whatever God wills and whatever Muhammad wills," but say, "Whatever God alone wills, He has no partner."'
