حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو بَكْرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ بَالَوَيْهِ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْحَرْبِيُّ ثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ قَالَ
«سَعِيدُ بْنُ عَامِرِ بْنِ حِذْيَمِ بْنِ سَلَامَانَ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ جُمَحٍ وَكَانَ وَلَّاهُ عُمَرُ بَعْضَ أَجْنَادِ الشَّامِ فَمَاتَ وَهُوَ عَلَى عَمَلِهِ بِالشَّامِ سَنَةَ عِشْرِينَ»

✧ Sa'id b. 'Amir b. Hudhaym b. Salaman b. Rabi'ah b. Sa'd b. Jumah. Umar appointed him over some of the armies of Syria, and he died while in his post in Syria in the year twenty.
