حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْعَدْلُ ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثنا أَبُو النَّضْرِ هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْمَسْعُودِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْعُمَيْسِ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ
«لَمَّا مَاتَ عُتْبَةُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ انْتَظَرَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ أُمَّ عَبْدٍ فَجَاءَتْ فَصَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ»
