حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَلْقَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«أَوَّلُ زُمْرَةٍ تَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ وُجُوهُهُمْ عَلَى ضَوْءِ الْقَمَرِ لَيْلَةَ الْبَدْرِ ثُمَّ الَّذِينَ يَلُونَهُمْ عَلَى أَحْسَنِ كَوْكَبٍ دُرِّيٍّ أَضَاءَتْ فِي السَّمَاءِ» فَقَامَ عُكَّاشَةُ بْنُ مِحْصَنٍ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ «اللَّهُمُ اجْعَلْهُ مِنْهُمْ» فَقَامَ آخِرُ فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ادْعُ اللَّهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ فَقَالَ «سَبَقَكَ إِلَيْهَا عُكَّاشَةُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The first group to enter Paradise will have faces shining like the full moon on a night of a lunar eclipse. Then those who follow them will have faces as bright as the brightest star in the sky." Ukasha ibn Muhsin stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to make me one of them." He said, "O Allah, make him one of them." Another person stood up and said, "O Messenger of Allah, pray to Allah to make me one of them." He said, "Ukasha has already reached that position."
