✧ Umm Salim al-Ansariyyah made Salim, the freedman of Abu Hudhayfah, a sa'ibah for Allah, and he was killed on the Day of Yamamah. She inherited weapons and a horse, so 'Umar b. al-Khattab sent to her: “Take it, for you are the most entitled of the people to it.” She said, “I have no need of it; I had made it for Allah the Exalted when I freed him.” So 'Umar took it and made it in the path of Allah ﷻ. This is not authentic.
