أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى أَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

رَجَعَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ فَسَمِعَ نِسَاءَ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْأَشْهَلِ يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَلْكَاهُنَّ فَقَالَ «لَكِنَّ حَمْزَةَ لَا بَوَاكِيَ لَهُ» فَجِئْنَ نِسَاءُ الْأَنْصَارِ فَبَكَيْنَ عَلَى حَمْزَةَ عِنْدَهُ وَرَقَدَ فَاسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُنَّ يَبْكِينَ فَقَالَ «يَا وَيْلَهُنَّ إِنَّهُنَّ لَهَا هُنَا حَتَّى الْآنَ مُرُوهُنَّ فَلْيَرْجِعْنَ وَلَا يَبْكِينَ عَلَى هَالِكٍ بَعْدَ الْيَوْمِ» صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ

✧ On the day of Uhud, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ returned and heard the women of Banu Abd al-Ashhal weeping over their dead. He said, "But Hamza has no weepers." So the women of the Ansar came and wept over Hamza in his presence. He slept, then woke up while they were weeping, and said, "Woe to them! They are still here until now? Tell them to go back and not weep over any dead after today." Sahih according to the condition of Muslim, but they did not include it.
