أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ هَانِئٍ الْعَدْلُ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثنا هَوْذَةُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ ثنا عَوْفٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ هِنْدٍ الْجَمَلِيِّ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ عَلِيًّا يَقُولُ «كُنْتُ إِذَا سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَعْطَانِي وَإِذَا سَكَتَ ابْتَدَأَنِي»
