حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النَّضْرِ الْفَقِيهُ بَالطَّابِرَانِ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ثنا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو عُبَادَةَ الزُّرَقِيُّ حَدَّثَنِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

شَهِدْتُ عُثْمَانَ يَوْمَ حُصِرَ فِي مَوْضِعِ الْجَنَائِزِ فَقَالَ أَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ يَا طَلْحَةُ أَتَذْكُرُ يَوْمَ كُنْتُ أَنَا وَأَنْتَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي مَكَانِ كَذَا وَكَذَا وَلَيْسَ مَعَهُ مِنْ أَصْحَابِهِ غَيْرِي وَغَيْرُكَ فَقَالَ لَكَ «يَا طَلْحَةُ إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ مِنْ نَبِيٍّ إِلَّا وَلَهُ رَفِيقٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِهِ مَعَهُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ وَأَنَّ عُثْمَانَ رَفِيقِي وَمَعِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ» فَقَالَ طَلْحَةُ اللَّهُمَّ نَعَمْ قَالَ ثُمَّ انْصَرَفَ طَلْحَةُ

✧ I witnessed 'Uthman on the day he was besieged, in the place of the funerals. He said: "I adjure you by Allah, O Talhah, do you remember the day when you and I were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in such-and-such a place, and there was no one with him from his Companions except me and you? He said to you: 'O Talhah, there is no prophet but he has a companion from his nation with him in Paradise, and 'Uthman is my companion and with me in Paradise.'" Talhah said: "O Allah, yes." He said: "Then Talhah left."

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» قاسم هذا قال البخاري لا يصح حديثه

    machine translation"This is a hadith with a sound chain (ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād), yet the two (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) did not narrate it." As for this Qāsim, al-Bukhārī said: his hadith is not sound.
