✧ "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out on a campaign and met the polytheists at Usfan. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Zuhr, they saw him bowing and prostrating, he and his companions. Some of them said to others, 'This was an opportunity for you; if you had attacked them, they would not have known about you until you fell upon them.' A speaker among them said, 'They have another prayer that is dearer to them than their families and their wealth. Prepare to attack them during it.' Then Allah, exalted is He, revealed to His Prophet ﷺ: {And when you are among them and lead them in prayer} [Al-Nisa 102] to the end of the verse, and informed him of what the polytheists had plotted. When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Asr, and they were facing him in the direction of the qiblah, he placed the Muslims behind him in two rows, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the takbir, and they said the takbir with him." He mentioned the prayer of fear and said at the end: "When the polytheists saw them, some prostrating and some standing to guard them, they said, 'They have been informed of what we intended.'"
