✧ Uthman b. Affan and his wife Ruqayyah bt. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out as emigrants from Makkah to the first Abyssinia. Then they came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Makkah, then they emigrated to Madinah. The two Shaykhs agreed on the transmission of the hadith of Ibn Abi Shaybah and others from al-Zuhri, from Urwah, from Ubayd Allah b. Adi, from al-Miswar b. Makhramah about the departure of Uthman b. Affan to the land of Abyssinia, and they narrated the hadith in full. Therefore, I abbreviated the narration of Musa b. Uqbah from Ibn Ishaq, and he mentioned in the Maghazi that Ruqayyah bt. the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, as they mentioned, was not seen among the Arabs or the Abyssinians as more beautiful than her. Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
