حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدٍ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَكِّي ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْمَرْوَزِيُّ ثنا عَبَّادُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي ثَوْرٍ عَنِ السُّدِّيِّ عَنْ عَبَّادِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ بِمَكَّةَ فَخَرَجَ فِي بَعْضِ نَوَاحِيهَا فَمَا اسْتَقْبَلَهُ شَجَرٌ وَلَا جَبَلٌ إِلَّا قَالَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ

✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Makkah, and he went out to one of its outskirts. No tree or mountain faced him except that it said, 'Peace be upon you, O Messenger of Allah.'
