✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was neither tall nor short, with rough palms and feet, a large head and beard, tinged with redness, large joints, and a long line of hair from chest to navel. When he walked, he leaned forward as though descending a slope. I have not seen anyone like him before or after, ﷺ.

machine translationAl-Dāraquṭnī was asked about him, and he mentioned the disagreement concerning it. He said: The correct view is that of those who said, "from Nāfiʿ b. Jubayr, from ʿAlī," without mentioning Jubayr in it, and God knows best. For some of them mentioned it from Nāfiʿ, from his father, from ʿAlī, and some of them say: from Nāfiʿ, from his father, from the Prophet ﷺ.
