أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنَزِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي الْيَمَانِ حَدَّثَكَ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ الْغَسَّانِيُّ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ عَنِ الْعِرْبَاضِ بْنِ سَارِيَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ
«إِنِّي عِنْدَ اللَّهِ فِي أَوَّلِ الْكِتَابِ لَخَاتَمُ النَّبِيِّينَ وَأَنَّ آدَمَ لَمُنْجَدِلٌ فِي طِينَتِهِ وَسَأُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِتَأْوِيلِ ذَلِكَ دَعْوَةُ أَبِي إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَبِشَارَةُ عِيسَى قَوْمَهُ وَرُؤْيَا أُمِّي الَّتِي رَأَتْ أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مِنْهَا نُورٌ أَضَاءَتْ لَهُ قُصُورُ الشَّامِ» قَالَ نَعَمْ

✧ “Indeed, in the first of the Book I am with Allah as the Seal of the Prophets, while Adam was still prostrate in his clay. And I will inform you of the interpretation of that: the supplication of my father Ibrāhīm, the glad tidings of ʿĪsā to his people, and the vision of my mother, who saw that a light came out of her that illuminated the palaces of Syria.” He said: “Yes.”
