✧ {"My Lord, grant me from Yourself a good offspring. Indeed, You are the Hearer of supplication"} [Al 'Imran: 38]. {"Indeed, my bones have weakened, and my head has flared with gray hair"} [Maryam: 4] and the following verses. Then He said, {"How can I have a boy when my wife has been barren and I have reached extreme old age?"} [Maryam: 9]. He said, "Thus your Lord says, 'It is easy for Me, and I created you before, and you were nothing.'" He said, "My Lord, make for me a sign." He said, "Your sign is that you will not speak to people for three nights, [being] sound." So his tongue was sealed for three days and their nights, while he was healthy and did not speak. {"Then he came out to his people from the mihrab and inspired them to glorify in the morning"} [Maryam: 11] and in the evening. "O Yahya, take the Scripture with strength," and We gave him judgment as a boy, and the verses until {"he will be raised alive"} [Maryam: 15]. Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in the Talkhis.
