حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الْفَقِيهُ ثنا الْهَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَلَفٍ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَشُرَيْحُ بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَا ثنا هُشَيْمٌ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّهُ كَانَ إِذَا قَرَأَ {سَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى} [الأعلى 1] قَالَ «سُبْحَانَ رَبِّيَ الْأَعْلَى الَّذِي خَلَقَ فَسَوَّى» قَالَ وَهِيَ قِرَاءَةُ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ

✧ When he recited {Glorify the name of your Lord, the Most High} [87:1], he said, "Glory be to my Lord, the Most High, who created and proportioned." He said, "And this is the recitation of Ubayy b. Kaʿb."

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
