✧ I heard Al-Qasim ibn Muhammad narrating and reciting the words of Allah ﷻ: {And the intoxication of death will bring the truth; that is what you were trying to avoid.} [Qaf 19] Then he said, Aisha, the Mother of the Believers, told me: I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was on his deathbed. He had a cup containing water, and he used to dip his hand into the cup and then wipe his face with the water, saying, "O Allah, help me with the throes of death."
