حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ الْفَرَّاءُ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ بِالْمَدِينَةَ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمُّ سَلَمَةَ بِنْتُ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ أَبِيهَا عَنْ جَدِّهَا عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ إِنَّ اللَّهَ ﷻ يَقُولُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أَمَرْتُكُمْ فَضَيَّعْتُمْ مَا عَهِدْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ فِيهِ وَرَفَعْتُ أَنْسَابُكُمْ فَالْيَوْمَ أَرْفَعُ نَسَبِي وَأَضَعُ أَنْسَابَكُمْ أَيْنَ الْمُتَّقُونَ أَيْنَ الْمُتَّقُونَ إِنَّ أَكْرَمَكُمْ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ أَتْقَاكُمْ

Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "Allah ﷻ will say on the Day of Resurrection: 'I commanded you, but you neglected what I entrusted to you, and I raised your lineages. Today I raise My lineage and lower your lineages. Where are the righteous? Where are the righteous? Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous.'"
