حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ الْعَدْلُ ثنا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ الْبَجَلِيُّ ثنا عَفَّانُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ثنا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ
جَاءَ زَيْدُ بْنُ حَارِثَةَ يَشْكُو إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ مِنْ زَيْنَبَ بِنْتِ جَحْشٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «أَمْسِكْ عَلَيْكَ أَهْلَكَ» فَنَزَلَتْ {وَتُخْفِي فِي نَفْسِكَ مَا اللَّهُ مُبْدِيهِ} [الأحزاب 37] على شرط البخاري ومسلم

✧ Zayd b. Haritha came to complain to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about Zaynab bint Jahsh. The Prophet ﷺ said: "Keep your wife." Then was revealed {And you concealed within yourself what Allah would disclose} [Quran 33:37]. On the condition of Bukhari and Muslim.
