أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُكْرَمٍ الْبَزَّازُ أَنْبَأَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَ أَبُو غَسَّانَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ اللَّيْثِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَازِمٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَّامٍ قَالَ

«إِنَّ لِلْمَسَاجِدِ أَوْتَادًا هُمْ أَوْتَادُهَا لَهُمْ جُلَسَاءُ مِنَ الْمَلَائِكَةِ فَإِنْ غَابُوا سَأَلُوا عَنْهُمْ وَإِنْ كَانُوا مَرْضَى عَادُوهُمْ وَإِنْ كَانُوا فِي حَاجَةٍ أَعَانُوهُمْ»

✧ "The mosques have pegs; they are their pegs. They have companions from the angels. If they are absent, the angels ask about them; if they are sick, the angels visit them; and if they are in need, the angels help them."
