✧ Tubba' came intending the Ka'bah, until when he was at Kurā' al-Ghamīm, Allah sent upon him a wind such that a standing person could hardly stand except with difficulty, and a standing person would go and then sit and be thrown down, and it rose against them, and they met from it great hardship. Tubba' called his two rabbis and asked them, "What is this that has been sent upon me?" They said, "Will you grant us safety?" He said, "You are safe." They said, "You intend a House which Allah protects from whoever intends it." He said, "Then what will remove this from me?" They said, "Strip to two garments, then say 'Labbayka, labbayka,' then enter and circumambulate that House, and do not provoke any of its people." He said, "If I resolve upon this, will this wind leave me?" They said, "Yes." So he stripped, then said the talbiyah. Ibn 'Abbās said, "The wind turned away like pieces of dark night."
