حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ ثنا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَهَّابِ ثنا يَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ قَالَا ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ

عَنْ عَلِيٍّ فِي هَذِهِ الْآيَةِ {يَوْمَ نَحْشُرُ الْمُتَّقِينَ إِلَى الرَّحْمَنِ وَفْدًا} [مريم 85] قَالَ عَلِيٌّ أَمَا وَاللَّهِ مَا يُحْشَرُ الْوَفْدُ عَلَى أَرْجُلِهِمْ وَلَا يُسَاقُونَ سَوْقًا وَلَكِنَّهُمْ يُؤْتَوْنَ بِنُوقٍ لَمْ تَرَ الْخَلَائِقُ مِثْلَهَا عَلَيْهَا رَحْلُ الذَّهَبِ وَأَزِمَّتُهَا الزَّبَرْجَدُ فَيَرْكَبُونَ عَلَيْهَا حَتَّى يَضْرِبُوا أَبْوَابَ الْجَنَّةِ «الْحَدِيثُ

✧ From 'Ali regarding this verse: {On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation} [Maryam: 85]. 'Ali said: By Allah, the delegation will not be gathered on their feet nor driven like cattle. Rather, they will be brought she-camels the like of which no creature has seen, with saddles of gold and reins of chrysolite. They will ride them until they knock on the gates of Paradise.   • هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ مُسْلِمٍ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» بل عبد الرحمن لم يرو له مسلم ولا لخاله النعمان وضعفوه

    machine translation"This is an authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) hadith meeting the criterion of Muslim, though the two did not record it." Rather, Muslim did not narrate from ʿAbd al-Raḥmān, nor from his maternal uncle al-Nuʿmān, and they graded him weak (ḍaʿīf).
