حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ الْعَامِرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ ثنا النَّضْرُ أَبُو عُمَرَ الْخَزَّازُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

«كَانَ بَيْنَ نُوحٍ وَهَلَاكِ قَوْمِهِ ثَلَاثُ مِائَةِ سَنَةٍ وَكَانَ قَدْ فَارَ التَّنُّورُ فِي الْهِنْدِ وَطَافَتْ سَفِينَةُ نُوحٍ بِالْكَعْبَةِ أُسْبُوعًا»

✧ There were three hundred years between Noah and the destruction of his people. The furnace had already spread in India and Noah's ark circled around the Kaaba for a week.
