أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْمَحْبُوبِيُّ ثنا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ ثنا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُمَيْلٍ أَنْبَأَ شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الشَّيْبَانِيِّ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنِ الْمُحَرَّرِ بْنِ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ
كُنْتُ فِي الْبَعْثِ الَّذِينَ بَعَثَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ مَعَ عَلِيٍّ بِبَرَاءَةَ إِلَى مَكَّةَ فَقَالَ لَهُ ابْنُهُ أَوْ رَجُلٌ آخَرُ فَبِمَ كُنْتُمْ تُنَادُونَ؟ قَالَ كُنَّا نَقُولُ «لَا يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ إِلَّا مُؤْمِنٌ وَلَا يَحُجَّ بَعْدَ الْعَامِ مُشْرِكٌ وَلَا يَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ عُرْيَانٌ وَمَنْ كَانَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ عَهْدٌ فَإِنَّ أَجَلَهُ أَرْبَعَةُ أَشْهُرٍ فَنَادَيْتُ حَتَّى صَحِلَ صَوْتِي»

✧ I was in the expedition that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent with Ali with Bara'ah to Makkah. His son or another man asked him: 'What did you announce?' He said: 'We declared: "None shall enter Paradise except a believer, and no polytheist shall perform Hajj after this year, and no one shall circumambulate the House naked, and whoever has a treaty with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, its term is four months." I announced until my voice became hoarse.'
