أَخْبَرَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْحَكِيمِيُّ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الدُّورِيُّ ثنا سُرَيْجُ بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ ثنا هُشَيْمٌ عَنْ أَبِي بِشْرٍ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ
«لَيْسَ الْخَبَرُ كَالْمُعَايَنَةِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ خَبَّرَ مُوسَى بِمَا صَنَعَ قَوْمُهُ فِي الْعِجْلِ فَلَمْ يُلْقِ الْأَلْوَاحَ فَلَمَّا عَايَنَ مَا صَنَعُوا أَلْقَى الْأَلْوَاحَ»

✧ "Information is not like direct observation. Allah informed Musa of what his people had done with the calf, but he did not throw down the tablets; when he directly saw what they had done, he threw down the tablets."
