✧ Interpretation of Surah al-Ma'idah.

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ

فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى {رَبَّنَا أَرِنَا اللَّذَيْنِ أَضَلَّانَا مِنَ الْجِنِّ وَالْإِنْسِ نَجْعَلْهُمَا تَحْتَ أَقْدَامِنَا} قَالَ إِبْلِيسُ وَابْنُ آدَمَ الَّذِي قَتَلَ أَخَاهُ

✧ Regarding His words, Exalted is He: {Our Lord, show us those two who led us astray from among the jinn and mankind, that we may put them under our feet} he said: Iblis and the son of Adam who killed his brother.

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» صحيح

    machine translation"This is a ḥadīth with a sound chain (ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād), and they (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) did not narrate it." Authentic (ṣaḥīḥ).
