✧ Interpretation of Surah al-Ma'idah.

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثنا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَفَّانَ الْعَامِرِيُّ ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ الْمِقْدَامِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِهِ ﷻ {جَعَلَ فِيكُمْ أَنْبِيَاءَ} [المائدة 20] قَالَ جَعَلَ مِنْكُمْ أَنْبِيَاءَ {وَجَعَلَكُمْ مُلُوكًا} [المائدة 20] قَالَ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالْخَادِمُ {وَآتَاكُمْ مَا لَمْ يُؤْتِ أَحَدًا مِنَ الْعَالَمِينَ} [المائدة 20] قَالَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْهِمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ

✧ From Ibn Abbas regarding His words, Exalted is He: {He made among you prophets} [Al-Ma'idah: 20] he said: He made from among you prophets. {And made you kings} [Al-Ma'idah: 20] he said: a wife and a servant. {And gave you what He had not given anyone among the worlds} [Al-Ma'idah: 20] he said: those who were among them at that time.

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
