✧ Mu'awiya came out of the bathhouse in Hims and said to his servant: "Bring me my two garments." He put them on, then entered the mosque of Hims and prayed two rak'ahs. When he finished, he found people sitting. He said to them: "What makes you sit?" They said: "We prayed the obligatory prayer, then the storyteller told his story, and when he finished we sat to discuss the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ." Mu'awiya said: "There is no man who met the Prophet ﷺ with fewer hadiths from him than I. I will tell you two things that I memorized from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. No man is in charge of people and men stand at his head, who loves that disputes become many in his presence, will enter Paradise. I was with the Prophet ﷺ one day when he entered the mosque and found a group of people sitting. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'What makes you sit?' They said: 'We prayed the obligatory prayer, then we sat to discuss the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet ﷺ.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'When Allah mentions something, its mention becomes great.'"
