✧ About this verse: {By Allah, our Lord, we were not associators} [al-An'am: 23], and He said in another verse: {and they will not conceal from Allah any account} [al-Nisa': 42]. Ibn Abbas said: 'As for His saying {By Allah, our Lord, we were not associators} [al-An'am: 23], when they saw on the Day of Resurrection that none would enter Paradise except the people of Islam, they said: "Come, let us deny." Then Allah sealed their mouths, and their hands and feet spoke, {and they will not conceal from Allah any account} [al-Nisa': 42].'
