✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited: {And you see the people intoxicated, yet they are not intoxicated} [al-Ḥajj: 2]. Al-Bukhārī has already transmitted this hadith from ʿUmar b. Ḥafṣ b. Ghiyāth, from his father, from al-Aʿmash, from Abū Ṣāliḥ, from Abū Saʿīd, saying: Allah says: 'O Adam, bring out the delegation of the Fire,' and the hadith in its entirety, and at its end: {And you see the people intoxicated, yet they are not intoxicated} [al-Ḥajj: 2]. And the more authentic of the two hadiths is the hadith that Imam al-Bukhārī transmitted.
