أَخْبَرَنِي إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الشَّعْرَانِيُّ ثنا جَدِّي ثنا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ثنا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ أَنْبَأَ مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ عَنْ طَاوُسٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ

رَجُلٌ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أَقِفُ الْمَوْقِفَ أُرِيدُ وَجْهَ اللَّهِ وَأُرِيدُ أَنْ يُرَىَ مَوْطِنِي فَلَمْ يَرُدَّ عَلَيْهِ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ شَيْئًا حَتَّى نَزَلَتْ {فَمَنْ كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاءَ رَبِّهِ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِ أَحَدًا} [الكهف 110]

✧ A man said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I stand in the station desiring the face of Allah and desiring that my position be seen.' The Messenger of Allah ﷺ did not reply to him at all until there descended: {So whoever hopes for the meeting with his Lord, let him work righteous deeds and not associate anyone in the worship of his Lord} [al-Kahf 110].

  • «هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ» على شرط البخاري ومسلم
