✧ As for the statement of Abdullah b. Yazid al-Ansari

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ السَّعْدِيُّ أَنْبَأَ يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عُبَادَةَ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ

«مَنْ غَزَا وَهُوَ لَا يَنْوِي فِي غَزَاتِهِ إِلَّا عِقَالًا فَلَهُ مَا نَوَى»
