  • Abū ʿAbdullāh al-Ḥākim

machine translationThis is a hadith with a sound chain (ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād), and they (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) did not record it with this wording.

  • Qurṭubī

machine translationThe word "half" (niṣf) seems to be an interpolation.

  • Ibn Ḥajar al-ʿAsqalānī

machine translationThere is no need to claim that the word "half" (niṣf) is an addition, after it has been established in the Ṣaḥīḥ.
