✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said, "If only we knew which deeds are most beloved to Allah." Then he mentioned the hadith. This is not to be called the hadith of al-Walid b. Muslim, for al-Hiql b. Ziyad, although his status is trustworthy and reliable, he doubted its chain. And from the evidence for the soundness of Abu Salamah's chain is that Abu Ishaq Ibrahim b. Muhammad al-Fazari, the most retentive of al-Awza'i's companions, narrated it with additional wording in it by the first chain, according to the conditions of al-Bukhari and Muslim.
