حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ حَدَّثَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَنْبَأَ سُفْيَانُ الثَّوْرِيُّ عَنْ وَائِلِ بْنِ دَاوُدَ عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عَمِّهِ قَالَ
سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ أَيُّ الْكَسْبِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ «كَسْبٌ مَبْرُورٌ»

هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُ «وَوَائِلُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ وَابْنُهُ بَكْرٌ ثِقَتَانِ وَقَدْ ذَكَرَ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ أَنَّ عَمَّ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ عَازِبٍ وَإِذَا اخْتَلَفَ الثَّوْرِيُّ وَشَرِيكٌ فَالْحُكْمُ لِلثَّوْرِيِّ» صحيح
machine translationThis is a ḥadīth with a sound chain (ṣaḥīḥ al-isnād), though they (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) did not record it. «Wāʾil b. Dāwūd and his son Bakr are trustworthy (thiqah), and Yaḥyā b. Maʿīn mentioned that the paternal uncle of Saʿīd b. ʿUmayr was al-Barāʾ b. ʿĀzib. And when al-Thawrī and Sharīk differ, the ruling goes to al-Thawrī.» Sound (ṣaḥīḥ).
