✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ passed by a pile of food and put his hand into it, and his fingers touched moisture. He said: "What is this, O owner of the food?" He replied: "The sky (rain) fell on it, O Messenger of Allah." He said: "Why did you not put it on top of the food so that people could see it?" Then he said: "Whoever deceives us is not of me." Muslim included the hadith of Suhayl from his father from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Whoever deceives us is not of us." As for the detailed account in these hadiths, they did not include it, but all of them are authentic according to Muslim's criterion. Muslim narrated it in abridged form.
