أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الدَّقَّاقُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُلَاعِبِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَاصِمٍ الْكِلَابِيُّ ثنا صَالِحٌ الْمُرِّيُّ ثنا قَتَادَةُ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ بْنِ أَوْفَى عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ «الْحَالُّ الْمُرْتَحِلُ» قَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ وَمَا الْحَالُّ الْمُرْتَحِلُ؟ قَالَ «يَضْرِبُ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الْقُرْآنِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ وَمِنْ آخِرِهِ إِلَى أَوَّلِهِ»

✧ A man said, 'O Messenger of Allah, which deeds are best?' He said, 'The one who alights and departs.' He said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is the one who alights and departs?' He said, 'He strikes from the beginning of the Qur'an to its end, and from its end to its beginning.'
