فَحَدَّثَنَاهُ أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ وَأَبُو سَعِيدٍ يَعْقُوبُ الثَّقَفِيُّ قَالَا ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ثنا اللَّيْثُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ سَعِيدًا الْمَقْبُرِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ عَنْ أَخِيهِ عَبَّادِ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ اللَّهُمَّ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَقَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَنَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ وَمِنْ دُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ

✧ He heard Abu Hurayrah saying: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say: O Allah, I seek refuge in You from four things: knowledge that does not benefit, a heart that does not humble, a soul that is not satisfied, and a supplication that is not heard.
