فَحَدَّثَنَاهُ بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثنا قَبِيصَةُ بْنُ عُقْبَةَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي سِنَانٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي الْهُذَيْلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو قَالَ
«كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَعَوَّذُ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ وَدُعَاءٍ لَا يُسْمَعُ وَقَلْبٍ لَا يَخْشَعُ وَنَفْسٍ لَا تَشْبَعُ»

✧ The translation of the above sentence is: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sought refuge from knowledge that does not benefit, supplication that is not answered, a heart that does not humbly fear Allah, and a soul that is never satisfied."
