✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught him and commanded him to look after his family every morning with: "Here I am, O Allah, here I am. Here I am, and at Your service. All good is in Your hands, and from You and to You. O Allah, whatever I have said of a saying, or sworn of an oath, or vowed of a vow, Your will comes before all of that. What You will happens, and what You do not will does not happen. There is no might and no power except with You. Indeed, You have power over all things. O Allah, whatever prayer I have prayed, it is upon the one for whom You prayed, and whatever curse I have uttered, it is upon the one whom You cursed. You are my protector in this world and the Hereafter. Cause me to die a Muslim and join me with the righteous. O Allah, I ask You for contentment after the decree, the coolness of life after death, the delight of looking at Your face, and longing to meet You without harmful harm or misleading trial. I seek refuge in You from wronging or being wronged, from transgressing or being transgressed against, and from earning a sin or a fault that You do not forgive. O Allah, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, Possessor of majesty and honor, I covenant with You in this world and call You as witness, and sufficient is You as witness, that I bear witness that there is no god but You alone, with no partner. Yours is the dominion and Yours is the praise, and You have power over all things. I bear witness that Muhammad is Your servant and Messenger. I bear witness that Your promise is true, the meeting with You is true, the Hour is coming, there is no doubt about it, and that You will resurrect those in the graves. And that if You entrust me to myself, You entrust me to weakness, fault, sin, and error. I trust only in Your mercy, so forgive me all my sins. None forgives sins but You. Turn to me in mercy, for You are the Ever-Relenting, the Most Merciful."
