✧ And from his mother Zaynab bt. Abī Salamah, both of them narrating it from Umm Salamah; they both narrated this from her. She said: It was my night when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ would come to me. Wahb b. Zamʿah entered upon me, and with him was a man from the family of Abū Umayyah, both wearing shirts. The Prophet ﷺ said to Wahb, “Have you performed the ifāḍah, O Abū ʿAbd Allāh?” He said, “No, by Allah, O Messenger of Allah.” He said, “Take off your shirt.” So he took it off from his head, and his companion took off his shirt from his head. They said, “Why, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “This has been permitted for you: when you have thrown the pebbles at the jamrah, you may exit from all the restrictions of iḥrām except women. Then when you enter the evening before you have circumambulated this House, you return to the state of iḥrām, just as you were before throwing the pebbles at the jamrah, until you perform the circumambulation.” Abū ʿUbaydah said: And Umm Qays narrated to me.
