✧ As for the story of Samurah b. Jundub

أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ الْعَنَزِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ الْمِصْرِيُّ ثنا أَبُو غَسَّانَ عَنْ حَسَّانَ بْنِ عَطِيَّةَ عَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ الْبَاهِلِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«الْعِيُّ وَالْحَيَاءُ شُعْبَتَانِ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ وَالْبَذَاءُ وَالْجَفَاءُ شُعْبَتَانِ مِنَ النِّفَاقِ»
