أَخْبَرَنَا مُكْرَمُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ الْقَاضِي ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُلَاعِبِ بْنِ حَيَّانَ ثنا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ ثنا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ ثنا نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«إِنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ جَعَلَ الْأَهِلَّةَ مَوَاقِيتَ فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَصُومُوا وَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُ فَأَفْطِرُوا فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْكُمْ فَاقْدُرُوا لَهُ وَاعْلَمُوا أَنَّ الْأَشْهُرَ لَا تَزِيدُ عَلَى ثَلَاثِينَ»

✧ "Allah has made the crescent moons as markers of time. So when you see it, fast, and when you see it, break the fast. If it is obscured for you, then estimate for it. And know that the months do not exceed thirty."
