✧ Every person has three friends. One friend says, "What you spend is yours, and what you withhold is not yours"—that is his wealth. Another friend says, "I am with you, but when you reach the king's door, I will leave you and return"—that is his family and retainers. Another friend says, "I am with you wherever you enter and wherever you go out"—that is his deeds. Then he says, "You were the least of the three in my eyes."
