    أَنَّهُ سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَنِ الْحِلْفِ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، فَقَالَ: لَا حِلْفَ فِي الْإِسْلَامِ، وَتَمَسَّكُوا بِحِلْفِ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ

    ✧ He asked the Prophet ﷺ about alliances in Islam, and he said: There is no alliance in Islam, but hold fast to the alliance of the Jahiliyyah.

    أَنَّ أَبَاهُ أَوْصَى بَنِيهِ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ فَقَالَ: إِذَا أَنَا مُتُّ فَلَا تَنُوحُوا عَلَيَّ، فَإِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ لَمْ يُنَحْ عَلَيْهِ

    ✧ His father instructed his sons at his death, saying: When I die, do not wail over me, for the Messenger of God ﷺ was not wailed over.
