   أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَرِنِي الْخَاتَمَ ! فَقَالَ: " أَدْخِلْ يَدَكَ، قَالَ: فَأَدْخَلْتُ يَدِي فِي جُرُبَّانِهِ فَجَعَلْتُ أَلْمَسُ، أَنْظُرُ إِلَى الْخَاتَمِ، فَإِذَا هُوَ عَلَى نُغْضِ كَتِفِهِ مِثْلُ الْبَيْضَةِ، فَمَا مَنَعَهُ ذَاكَ أَنْ جَعَلَ يَدْعُو لِي، وَإِنَّ يَدِي لَفِي جُرُبَّانِهِ

   ✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of God, show me the seal!' He said: 'Put your hand in.' So I put my hand into the opening of his garment and began to feel, looking at the seal, and there it was on the cartilage of his shoulder, like an egg. That did not prevent him from praying for me while my hand was still in the opening of his garment.

   " انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَإِذَا هُوَ مُطْلِقُ الْأَزْرَارِ، فَكُنْتَ لَا تَرَى مُعَاوِيَةَ وَابْنَهُ إِلَّا مُطْلِقَى الْأَزْرَارِ

   ✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ and found his buttons undone, and you would never see Mu'awiya and his son except with their buttons undone.

   " كُنَّا عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ نُطْرَدُ طَرْدًا أَنْ نَقُومَ بَيْنَ السَّوَارِي فِي الصَّلَاةِ

   ✧ In the time of the Prophet ﷺ we were strongly forbidden from standing between the pillars in prayer.

   " صَوْمُ ثَلَاثَةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنَ الشَّهْرِ صَوْمُ الدَّهْرِ وَإِفْطَارُهُ

   ✧ Fasting three days of the month is equivalent to fasting for a lifetime and its breaking.

   كَانَ يَخْتَلِفُ إِلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ مَعَهُ ابْنٌ لَهُ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ: " يَا فُلَانُ، أَتُحِبُّهُ ؟ "، فَقَالَ: نَعَمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، فَأَحَبَّكَ اللهُ كَمَا أُحِبُّهُ ! فَفَقَدَهُ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ فَسَأَلَ عَنْهُ، فَقَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ مَاتَ ابْنُهُ ! فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: أَمَا يَرْضَى - أَوْ: أَلَا تَرْضَى - أَنْ لَا تَأْتِيَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ بَابًا مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْجَنَّةِ إِلَّا جَاءَ يَسْعَى حَتَّى يَفْتَحَهُ لَكَ ؟ "، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، أَلَهُ وَحْدَهُ أَمْ لِكُلِّنَا ؟ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: " بَلْ لِكُلِّكُمْ

   ✧ A man from the Ansar used to frequent the Prophet ﷺ with a son of his. One day the Messenger of God ﷺ said to him: 'O so-and-so, do you love him?' He said: 'Yes, O Messenger of God, may God love you as I love him!' The Prophet ﷺ later missed him and asked about him. They said: 'O Messenger of God, his son has died.' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Is he not pleased—or: are you not pleased—that on the Day of Resurrection he will not come to any gate of Paradise except that he will come running until he opens it for you?' A man said: 'O Messenger of God, is that for him alone or for all of us?' The Messenger of God ﷺ said: 'Rather for all of you.'

   " إِذَا فَسَدَ أَهْلُ الشَّامِ فَلَا خَيْرَ فِيكُمْ، لَا تَزَالُ طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أُمَّتِي مَنْصُورِينَ لَا يَضُرُّهُمْ مَنْ خَذَلَهُمْ حَتَّى تَقُومَ السَّاعَةُ

   ✧ When the people of Syria become corrupt, there is no good in you. A group of my community will remain victorious, unharmed by those who forsake them, until the Hour comes.

   " أَتَى أَبِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ وَقَدْ حَلَبَ وَصَرَّ

   ✧ My father came to the Prophet ﷺ after he had milked and tied the udder.

   أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ذَهَبَ يَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِالسِّوَاكِ، فَجَعَلُوا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَى دِقَّةِ سَاقِهِ أَوْ يَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ دِقَّةِ سَاقِهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: لَهُمَا أَثْقَلُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ مِنْ أُحُدٍ

   ✧ Ibn Mas'ud went to bring the Prophet ﷺ a tooth-stick, and people began to look at the thinness of his legs, or they marveled at the thinness of his legs. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'They are heavier in the balance than Mount Uhud.'
