حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ

أَنَّ ابْنَ مَسْعُودٍ ذَهَبَ يَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ بِالسِّوَاكِ، فَجَعَلُوا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَى دِقَّةِ سَاقِهِ أَوْ يَعْجَبُونَ مِنْ دِقَّةِ سَاقِهِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: لَهُمَا أَثْقَلُ فِي الْمِيزَانِ مِنْ أُحُدٍ

Translation

✧ Ibn Mas'ud went to bring the Prophet ﷺ a tooth-stick, and people began to look at the thinness of his legs, or they marveled at the thinness of his legs. The Prophet ﷺ said: 'They are heavier in the balance than Mount Uhud.'
