✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ looked upon us while we were discussing the Hour. He said, "The Hour will not come until there are ten signs: the smoke, the Dajjal, the Beast, the rising of the sun from the west, three sinkings—a sinking in the east, a sinking in the west, and a sinking in the Arabian Peninsula—and the descent of Jesus son of Mary, the opening of Gog and Magog, and a fire that comes out from the depths of Aden that drives the people to the gathering place."

✧ When the death of the Negus was reported to the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Your brother has died in a land other than yours, so stand and pray over him." The Messenger of God ﷺ arranged them in rows behind him and prayed over him.

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ mentioned the Beast and said: "It has three emergences in the course of time. It will emerge in the farthest part of the desert, and its mention will not enter the town—meaning Makkah. Then it will stay hidden for a long time, then it will emerge a second time, lesser than that, and its mention will rise among the desert dwellers and enter the town—meaning Makkah." The Messenger of God ﷺ then said: "Then while the people are in the greatest mosque, the most sacred, the best, and the most noble—the Sacred Mosque—nothing will startle them except that it is bellowing between the Corner and the Station, shaking dust from its head. The people will scatter from it in all directions and together, but a band of believers will remain firm, knowing they cannot thwart God. It will begin with them and polish their faces until they become like a brilliant star. Then it will turn away through the land; no seeker can catch it, and no fugitive can escape it. Even a man will seek refuge from it in prayer, and it will come to him from behind and say: 'O so-and-so, only now are you praying!' He will turn to face it, and it will brand his face, then go on. And people will share in wealth and accompany one another in the towns, the believer being known from the disbeliever, until the believer says: 'O disbeliever, pay me my due!' and until the disbeliever says: 'O believer, pay me my due!'"
